Joli Lapin hops all around London town to sift through all the rubbish and find something special. From retro, vintage, designer to highstreet, charity shop chic has never looked (or tasted!) so good.
Today my mum arrived in London. Today also happens to be her birthday and what she wanted to do more than anything was "go to the ocean!!" So we jumped on a train and went to visit the ocean. Mild weather and fairly clear skies, what more could we have asked for? We ended the afternoon eating good ol' traditional English fish & chips at a restaurant overlooking the water - it was perfectly lovely. Happy birthday mum! x
My parents stopped buying christmas trees a few years ago, when my mom found a faux palm tree covered in christmas lights that she now prefers to use instead. As fun as it is, there is just something about a faux palm tree that doesn't quite capture the magical christmas qualities of a real tree - even when covered in christmas lights. Luckily, my aunt and uncle's MASSIVE tree held up for our belated xmas dinner last Sunday night, pretty non?
Family, friends & great food! The best way to spend Christmas eve. This year the Lowon Pope's hosted a fabulous Xmas eve soiree with an asian fusion theme, it was delicious! Plus I got to watch Miracle on 34th street and was given a new pink YSL lipstick - happy me!!
Hallo! Joli Lapin posts have been lacking lately due to my lack of internet while away in Dusseldorf, Germany over the past few days. I have SO much to share from my trip! Dusseldorf is a wonderful city and I enjoyed tons of great food and found lots of fab things - such as this beyond cute vintage apron I found at an amazing little shop called Le Freak & Chic. If I ever attempt to make schnitzel at home, I'm sooo wearing this! Posts from my trip coming soon promis! x
